Park City's headline season is winter, when Park City Mountain and Deer Valley Resort run lifts from roughly late November through mid-April, delivering Utah's famously light, dry powder just 35 minutes from a major airport. Late January brings the Sundance Film Festival, filling Main Street with celebrities and premieres. Summer (June through September) is the second high season, with hiking, mountain biking, fly-fishing and a busy festival and concert calendar in the cool mountain air. The quiet shoulder seasons of May and October offer lower prices and thin crowds, though some lifts and trails are between seasons.
